Hello – See You Soon

Grounds For Sculpture-Triangles 2Last week, I decided to check out the WordPress prompt of the day, and it turned out that I reflected on some of my life’s regrets or things I would change. That left me in a bit of a funk. But, that isn’t the only reason I haven’t been blogging.

I joined two book clubs and I have been reading, reading, reading. I went to one meeting and it was a fantastic group – smart women, lively discussion, and a lot of fun.

I spent a day shopping for spring clothes. I lost 25 pounds this past year, so it was time to stop cinching my pants with a belt. I waited until I was sure the weight wasn’t coming back. It has been more than six months.

I spent a day with my grandson. Not a free minute that day for anything that didn’t interest a four-year-old.

One day, we bought a new car. We tried, but it is impossible to live in the suburbs with one car. No picture today.

Tomorrow, I am going to see the cherry blossoms in D.C. Hope to get some good photos.

Then, there is homework. I mustn’t forget to get that handed in.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi – and I’ll see you all this weekend.

I thought I would leave this post on a happier note than the last one :)

  2. 25 pounds? That’s admirable Rob. Good for you! Cherry blossoms and grandsons, new cars and engaging books? That’s all enviable. I hope you write about the books you’re reading. I’m in the middle of a couple now that are very engrossing too. Happy April days to you!

  4. I haven’t been making my rounds in the blogosphere as much as I’d like either. Life just seems to move at warp speed….and then add in some drama and everything just unravels. I’m glad your distractions have been more positive. And stay away from those things that cause funks! They aren’t constructive!! xo
